Trading Spaces

So, last night I was channel surfing and stopped on Trading Spaces. I got into the whole craze a few years ago, when Ty Pennington was the highlight of the show. But, back then every single room was absolutely loved and adored, no matter how outrageous it was designed, especially by that one guy....Doug? I realize they're probably grateful that they got to be on tv and that a designer has come to design a room just for them, but the reality is, some of those rooms were terrible, like the designer used their rooms as guinea pigs.

But then! Last night, during the reveal, she actually said she hated it and was disappointed! I was so confused, when did they become honest? No more fake pageant smiles and tears?! When did this happen? It brings the whole reality tv view to it. I thought the room was beautiful, it was purple, very resort like. Ok, maybe I'm the messed up one and think the beautiful rooms are hideous and the rooms I think are gorgeous are really the offending ones. Well, Ty is no longer part of the show, so its not my new favorite or anything, just interesting!
